We provide:
-
Safe and effective anesthesia.
-
Extract impacted and nonrestorable teeth
-
Replace lost teeth (dental implants)
Our primary goal is to save teeth, so we always look for the most conservative treatments that will address the problem. But a situation can arise where severe decay, loss of tooth structure, or an abscess leaves us no choice but to remove the tooth.
There are several situations where we may recommend tooth extraction:
-
A tooth has grown at an odd angle and threatens the position of other healthy teeth.
-
A broken or decayed tooth is too damaged to be repaired with a root canal or similar procedure.
-
If you have advanced gum disease, we may recommend tooth extractions to save the gums and the rest of the teeth.
-
A wisdom tooth is impacted or has erupted in such a way that it compromises surrounding teeth.
